History
Rockwool Technical Insulation (RTI) became an individual Business Unit within the Rockwool Group in 2006. Although we are a relatively young organisation, we possess the knowledge and expertise of a long established organisation. The youthful spirit of our company is reflected in our drive and passion, combined with the years of experience and knowledge we can offer thanks to being part of the Rockwool Group.
Rockwool Group
The Rockwool Group was founded in 1937. Our more than 8,800 employees work at sales offices and factories in more than 30 countries. The Group’s head office is located in Hedehusene close to Copenhagen. In 2010 the Group generated a turnover from € 1,6 billion euro. The company is listed on the NASDAQ OMX Nordic Exchange Copenhagen. The Group’s operations have a main presence in Europe and we are expanding production, sales and service activities in North and South America and Asia.
